Daily Sleddogtours

Welcome to Karhuniemi 6 km outside of Kiruna for a visit at our sleddogcamp where you have the chance to meet our friendly Alaskan huskies face to face .You can also romp and play with the puppies and ask any questions you may have about the dogs.
The dogs at the kennel are very friendly and use to have visit, after you have gotten acquainted with the dogs you have the chance to help us to harness them, Once harnessed, the dogs are very eager to get going, and definitely let you know that they love to run!
We get under way to the sound of barking huskies, but as they get into their stride, they quite down. The only sound you will hear from now on is the sound of the snow sliding by under the sled as the dog carry you into the Northern wilderness.
The sledge tour go down to the Rautas river about 15 km and to our Lavvo ( lapish Tent ). Here will you be served something warm to drink and homemade cake

Time for sledge trip about 3-3,5 hours. Back in Kiruna ca 13.30.
